Our Lady Stags Volleyball team honored the seniors last night: (L to R) RJ Gillaspy, Erin Kanrilak Wolf, Chloe Langan, Alex Cleveland, Kali Vio, Haley Martz, Emma Brownell, Delaney Newman, Kolbie Colliver, Caitlyn Watson, Camryn Chapman, Ellie Ahrens, and Grace McCabe. The Volleyball team finished 3rd in the league our first year in 2A! This is a great accomplishment. This group of girls has been together for 3-4 years and they are seeing the rewards of all their hard work. They have trusted each other and a new coach and leaned into the many changes in the program. The Stags will see Pullman again on Tuesday night in the first round of districts which will decide whether we move on or end our season! Let's Go Stags!

Congratulations to DPHS student Erika Hernandez who placed as the reserve national champion for FFA! At the 97th FFA national convention, Erika Hernandez from the Deer Park FFA chapter competed in the Spanish Creed speaking career development event. She then recited the creed one more time for final placing where she placed as the reserve national champion! Way to go Erika!
