Congratulations to DPHS Coach Levi Hogan! Coach Hogan's 2A GSL Coach of the Year award reflects his outstanding leadership, dedication, and vision. His guidance has propelled the program to new heights, achieving on-field success while building a culture of discipline, teamwork, and resilience. By developing players athletically and as young men, he has instilled a winning mindset and pride. Coach Hogan's impact goes beyond the scoreboard, strengthening the program and ensuring its future success. We are proud Coach Hogan represents Deer Park School District! Coach Hogan shared his response to the recognition and shared gratitude for others: "I honestly think we let more than one victory get away from us this year and fell short in a number of areas. I don't feel that individual recognition in a sport like football is often warranted. This award recognizes our community/booster support, the efforts of our players, and the commitment of our whole coaching staff as we joined the GSL."

We have heroes in our transportation department! Not only did they put out a bushfire near the bus garage which prevented it from spreading, they administered first aid and chest compressions to a neighbor and called the medics. Many thanks to our transportation crew for their response and bravery! Photo credit: Laura Chamberlain, Deer Park Tribune
