Here is what’s happening around campus in the coming weeks:
🎃 Pumpkin Invention Challenge. Don't forget to turn in your pumpkin inventions by Oct 21. Detailed directions can be found on the orange paper in your box.
Important Rule: NO CARVING—decorating only, please!
The prizes this year are super cool, so get creative!
🍁 Annual Harvest Party — Thursday, Oct 22nd (3:00 PM – 5:00 PM)Fall into the fun with us this Thursday! Grab the kids, bring the whole family, and kick off the season with an unforgettable afternoon.
Candy Donations Needed: We could still use a few more candy donations. If you are stopping by campus, please feel free to drop a bag in the basket near Connie’s desk. Thank you!
🎓 SchooLinks Week (Next Week)During lunch next week, we will be helping our 7th–12th grade students log into SchooLinks to complete tasks and explore career and education pathways. We’re excited to support them as they DREAM BIG about their futures!
👓 Vision & Hearing Screening — Monday (8:30 AM – 2:30 PM)We will be hosting Vision and Hearing Screenings at the Deer Park Campus this coming Monday from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM.
🧦 Socktober Drive
Please continue to bring in donations for SOCKTOBER! We hope to keep the feet of those in need warm this winter. Donation boxes are located at both campuses.
📸 Picture Make-Up Day — Friday, Oct 30th (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM)If your student missed original picture day, picture make-ups will take place on campus. No appointment is necessary!
♟️ First Chess Meetup — Friday, Nov 6th at 11:00 AMCalling all chess players! Our first Chess Meetup will take place at 11:00 AM at our DP campus.
