We are proud to recognize an outstanding Deer Park High School student whose dedication, work ethic, and vision for her future are truly impressive!
Kaelin is actively involved in Cross Country, Track, National Honor Society, Link Crew, Knowledge Bowl, and French Club, all while taking an extremely rigorous academic schedule that includes several College in the High School courses.
And her commitment extends well beyond the classroom! She works as a barista and social media manager and is gaining valuable hands-on experience as a kennel assistant at a local veterinary clinic—an especially meaningful opportunity as she pursues her dream of one day becoming a veterinarian. 🐾
When talking about her future, she shared that she values her strong work ethic and is “creating her own blueprint” for what comes next.

Congratulations to our latest Deer Park Rotary Student of the Month, Noah Brown!
A Deer Park student since elementary school, this outstanding young man has grown into a tremendous leader and positive influence at Deer Park High School. As ASB President and a member of the basketball team, he leads by building relationships, helping others, and making sure students feel welcomed and connected.
Perhaps one of the best examples of his commitment to his school community is his decision to remain on campus at DPHS as a senior. For him, being at the high school means having the opportunity to welcome students, strengthen school culture, and continue serving as a student leader.
He shared that one of his favorite Deer Park memories is the staff vs. student basketball game—a fitting favorite for someone who values fun, relationships, school spirit, and bringing people together!
We are incredibly proud of the leader Noah has become and grateful for the positive impact he continues to have on those around him. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition! 💙🤍

The Deer Park School District Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Caleb Krantz to the School Board. The Board is excited to welcome him to the Board and appreciates his willingness to continue serving our students, staff, families, and the Deer Park community.
Caleb Krantz is a local parent and engineer with a history of involvement within the District since moving to the community in 2010. His daughter graduated in 2023, and his son is a senior at the high school this year. Caleb has served as a CTE advisor and a member of the Facilities Advisory Committee for over 10 years. He has been an active supporter of multiple booster clubs and also a member and president of the Committee to Support Deer Park Schools.
Krantz will officially take the oath of office and be sworn in at the August 24, 2026, School Board meeting. We look forward to having him join the Board and contribute to the important work of supporting our schools and students.

DPSD is committed to working collaboratively in ongoing processes of collective inquiry and action research to achieve better results for our students. Our Spanish and French language travelers arrived in Paris in the middle of a historic heat wave—apparently the day before their arrival was the hottest ever recorded in France! Despite the soaring temperatures, the Deer Park group embraced every opportunity to explore, learn, and experience French culture firsthand.

Even though students are out of school, they are still involved, learning, and growing! On June 27th, Deer Park students Porter Whitmore and Madison Breckner-Lafley, and Reardan students Kashley and Paige, competed at the Washington state 4-H Livestock Judging competition; the team walked away as the STATE Senior Champs! Porter Whitmore and Madison Breckner-Lafley, along with their teammates, are headed to represent WA and judge in Louisville, Kentucky, at the North American International Livestock Exposition in November.
Porter also received overall 5th place high individual livestock senior judge and 5th place overall in oral reasons.

This morning, Deer Park High School did their state champion walk for our Unified track and field teams. They performed outstandingly this weekend at State, taking home 2nd place in the SMR, 4th in the 4 x 100, 5th in Shot Put, and 1st in the 100m, along with a state record time of 11.62. Amazing job, you guys!

Deer Park FFA presented the Northside Community Voice, local newspaper, with the "Outstanding Service Award" in recognition of the newspaper’s ongoing coverage of Deer Park High School students, Career and Technical Education programs, agricultural education and FFA activities. DPSD values our community partners and businesses who continue to support the students and schools!
Fire District 4 did their senior send-off this morning for Austin Stone! Austin was chosen for this honor because of his perseverance, school spirit, and community involvement.
From DECA and sports team managing to umpiring local fastpitch games, Austin is loved by his peers and staff for his big smile and welcoming attitude. Deer Park High School has been lucky to have him, and he will be greatly missed.

Deer Park FFA was excited to have a horse judging team representing us this year! The team put in a great performance, scoring six classes and presenting two sets of oral reasons. This young team placed 20th out of 35 teams and is already setting goals for next year.
We are proud of all our students' hard work and dedication to the program this year and excited to see what will come next year!
