Eric Keller has served as a Deer Park School Board Director since 2007 and currently serves as the Board Chair.  Initially appointed to fill a vacant director position, he has been re-elected three additional times. Eric has been active with many school board committees. He has spent the most time on the Citizens Facilities Advisory group prioritizing the facility needs of the school district.  

Eric grew up on a small farm near Clayton and attended Deer Park Schools, graduating from Deer Park High School in 1988.  His high school sweetheart, Debbie, graduated from DPHS in 1989.  (Their four children also graduated from Deer Park High School)

After graduating high school, Eric joined the Naval Reserve SEABEES before attending and graduating from the University of Idaho, School of Forestry with a Bachelor of Science in Forest Resource Management.  He is also a graduate of the Washington Ag-Forestry Leadership Program. 

Eric and his family live on a small hay and sheep farm just south of Deer Park where they are active members of the community.  

Eric was able to be active with all four of his childrens’ activities.  For many years he coached; Pop Warner Football, Little Guy Wrestling, and Little League Softball and Baseball.  He and his wife spent many years hauling animals and supervising many kids at the local fairs and livestock shows in the Deer Park/Spokane area.  They are still raising and selling lambs to 4-H and FFA kids after 17 years.

Eric currently is the Forest Practices District Manager for the Washington Department of Natural Resources.  He has worked for the Department since 2006 and prior to that was a Forester for Boise Cascade.  Debbie was the Pharmacy Manager at Bi-Mart Pharmacy until they closed and now works at NEW Health.

Craig Phillips has lived in Washington State his whole life, is a graduate of Deer Park High School (class of 2001), graduate of Moody Bible Institute, and currently works as a custodian for the Mead School District. He served as a youth pastor and lead pastor for over 17 years, teaching the Bible, organizing and overseeing various community service projects, and helping people in need through counseling and charity. He is a parent of two students at DPMS who are at both ends of the learning spectrum. Craig is passionate about helping secure a safe and enriching academic environment for all of our students, faculty, and staff. He is anxious to listen to all community input and work with his fellow directors and superintendent to address and resolve the various challenges facing our schools today.

Deer Park has been ReBecca’s home where she has lived, learned, been served, and served for over 40 years. ReBecca believes Deer Park is a blessed place, a ‘city on a hill.’  ReBecca and Bart are blessed with two children who attend Deer Park schools, Sadie and Clay.  Sadie is a Junior with a passion for Rodeo and FFA, and Clay is in 6th grade and splits his year between wrestling, baseball, and rodeo.  ReBecca enjoys spending her time in worship, 4-H including FFA market steers, lambs, and various livestock contests), and loves everything horses. 

When not enjoying the above, serving on the Board, or hanging with friends/family, ReBecca is a Transportation Project Manager from ‘9 to 5.’ For the past 23 years she has served the traveling public by designing urban and rural streets/intersections, including our US 395 Deer Park roundabouts. 

ReBecca stands behind our District vision of Ensuring the Future by Inspiring Excellence and strives to make and achieve smart goals. One goal she is excited about revolves around communication and District outreach. She is aware of the growth before us and puts the utmost importance in putting kids first.  

If you see her around town, please say hello. ReBecca feels, “The more we know each other, the more we hold to our ‘small-town feel’, where we greet each other with a smile and stand behind our handshakes.”

Lindsay Lofstrom

In December 2021, Lindsay was elected to her current school board position. Lindsay and her husband have four boys who attend Arcadia, Deer Park Middle School, and the Home Link program. Lindsay is a native of Deer Park and an alumnus of Deer Park Schools, having completed her K-12 education in the district. Along with her husband, she is a proud graduate of Deer Park High School.

Lindsay has extensive expertise in elementary education, having taught grades 2-4th in the Renton School District for eight years. After starting a family, she and her husband returned to Deer Park, where she has spent the last 6 years homeschooling her children as a dedicated stay-at-home mother. Lindsay remains actively involved in her children's education, serving as the secretary of PTCA at Arcadia and fulfilling the role of Children's Director in her local church. In addition, she advocates for students at a state level as the WSSDA Board Director for this area.

Dr. Alexa Allman

Dr. Alexa Allman

Dr. Alexa Allman is honored and excited to serve as the next Superintendent of Deer Park School District.

Originally from Yakima, Alexa and her husband Kevin, have two children, Maya (18) and Dain (14). After graduating in Yakima, Dr. Allman attended Washington State University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Education with a K-8 Elementary and 4-12 Mathematics certification. She then earned her Master’s of Arts in K-12 Educational Leadership from Western Washington University. In 2022, she earned her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Washington State University. 

Dr. Allman began her career teaching elementary school in the Central Kitsap School District in Silverdale and then taught middle school in the Renton School District. After earning her Master’s degree served as a middle school assistant principal (7 years), elementary school principal (6 years), and human resources director (6 years) in the Bellevue School District. Dr. Allman was then hired in Deer Park School District as Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources and Educational Services where she served for two years.

Dr. Allman has enjoyed becoming immersed and a part of the Deer Park community. You may find Dr. Allman and her family cheering for the Stags at sporting events, supporting the drama productions and music concerts, and attending community events such as Night at the North Pole, Settler’s Day, Deer Park 5K, and visiting the Deer Park Market. 

She looks forward to continuing to serve the Deer Park schools and community and continuing the growth and planning process.
