Governor Inslee has announced that students will not return to Washington school buildings this year. Our staff misses the daily interaction with our students, but we are committed to providing new learning opportunities to DPHS students.
During the remainder of the school year I will be sending emails and school messenger calls on a regular basis. In these calls I will continue to promote on-line learning opportunities and provide dates and times to pick up paper packets. Our staff will be working on ways to provide appropriate feedback to students using paper packets.
Students: Please rest assured that if you make a consistent “good faith effort” to engage in learning that you will earn all the credits needed to stay on track for graduation. Please check your emails daily, engage on Google Classroom, or pick up paper packets. If you continue to demonstrate consistent effort you will pass!
Running Start: Please contact Mr. Poland or Mrs. Bickley with needs or questions.
Seniors: Stay engaged and you WILL graduate this year! If you need any help please contact Mr. Poland or Mr. Feist by email or phone. Continue to apply for colleges and scholarships. For transcripts please contact Amy Foley by email. All email addresses are on our website.
At times I will be sending emails and robo- calls to seniors only in order to keep you updated on graduation plans. I have limited information at this time regarding our graduation ceremony, but I will share more information as it becomes available. Stay calm and do your best during these challenging times. We are here to help!
Parents: Over the next few weeks I will be sending school messenger calls to update you regarding on-line lessons and how to pick up paper packets. Please remind your students to engage in learning. Talk to them often and encourage them to email teachers with questions as needed. Your support is critical as we all work to ensure that our DPHS students continue to progress.
